De x-as geeft de maanden van het jaar weer, boven de grafiek staat het aantal blocks, dit zijn er 5 dus elke punt op de grafiek stelt het gemiddelde voor van die bepaalde maand over 5 jaar heen. De studente zegt dat de 1ste observatie overeenkomt met de maand januari, dit klopt niet. De eerste observatie komt overeen met de maant maart aangezien in de database dit de eerste observatie is namelijk maart 2001.
Op deze grafiek kan men bevestigen dat er een significant verschil is tussen de 6de en de 7de maand (augustus en september) aangezien de betrouwbaarheidsintervallen niet overeenkomen tussen deze 2 maanden. Men kan dus spreken van seizoenaliteit.

Er is de juiste conclusie getrokken, er is duidelijk sprake van seizonaliteit, welke volgens mij goed verklaard werd. Kijken we naar de grafiek van de Notched box plots, stellen we vast dat er van de 6de op de 7de maand een enorme sprong is, wat wijst op seizonaliteit.

Ik had de grafiek inderdaad niet helemaal correct geinterpreteerd.
De eerste maand komt inderdaad overeen met de maand maart en niet met januari.
