Je kiest voor de juiste tijdreeks, en je kijkt naar de waarde van de mediaan die inderdaad voor IND10_UT90 het hoogst is. Ook zou je kunnen opmerken dat het verschil tussen de lower en upper bound hier het kleinst is tov de rest, dit wil dus zeggen dat deze reeks ook de kleinste spreiding vertoont.

De laatste boxplot is inderdaad de investering die we willen hebben. We moeten boven die 3.8% komen (je kan er een horizontale lijn trekken). Bij de laatste boxplot zit onze mediaan in het slechtste geval op onze onderste betrouwbaarheidsinterval liggen. Als dit het geval is kunnen we opmerken dat de mediaan nog altijd boven die horizontale lijn ligt die die 3.8% voorstelt. We kunnen zelfs zeggen dat deze belegging significant groter is dan 3.8%

We willen een ROI van meer dan 3,8% bekomen. Op de waarde 103,8 moeten we dan een horizontale lijn trekken. Dan moeten we zoeken welke notche het verst boven deze lijn ligt en dat is investering IND10_UT90. De mediaan en het betrouwbaarheidsinterval hiervan liggen boven de ingebeelde horizontale lijn. Daarom is investering IND10_UT90 de beste.
