Goed antwoord van de student. De steile stijging in de cumulatieve periodogram toont een lange termijn trend. De trend kan zelfs ongeveer 70% van het model verklaren. Door 1 keer seizoenale en 1 keer niet seizoenale differentiatie toe te passen zul je inderdaad zien dat zowel de trend als de seizoenaliteit verdwijnt. Er is ook nog een kleine afwijking te zien die boven het betrouwbaarheidsinterval van 95% ligt. Aangezien ze boven het interval liggen is er mogelijk sprake van een AR proces.

Op basis van het cumulatief periodogram kunnen we besluiten dat er een LT-trend aanwezig is. Dit zien we aan de sterke stijging aan het begin van de periode. Deze stijging reikt ong tot de waarde 0,70, wat wil zeggen dat we 70% van de schommelingen kunnen verklaren. Om deze trend te verwijderen gaan we niet-sezoenaal differentiëren, we stellen d gelijk aan 1.
