Er werden wel berekeningen gemaakt, maar er staat nergens uitleg bij. Bij de partial correlation word de derde component eruit gezuiverd, zodat deze geen invloed heeft op de correlatie van de andere 2. Bij deze student kan je zien dat het verschil het grootst is wanneer we x uitzuiveren. De eigenlijke correlatie van y en z is kleiner dan wanneer we x er niet uitzuiveren. Bij de andere is het verschil niet al te groot.
