Spectrum:

Aan de linkerkant van de grafiek zien we lange golfbewegingen terwijl we aan de rechterkant van de grafiek meer korte, op-en-neergaande golfbewegingen kunnen vaststellen. De golfbewegingen aan de linkerkant liggen duidelijk hoger als aan de rechterkant.

De trend die we hier kunnen vaststellen is lange termijn golving.

Cumulative periodogram:

Het patroon dat we hier zien is typisch voor een tijdreeks met een lange termijn trend.

Indien de lijn tussen de stippellijn zou liggen zou er geen enkel patroon aanwezig zijn.

raw periodogram:
we zien inderdaad een groot aantal lage frequenties.
Op de x-as zien we frequentie van de golfbeweging en de y-as geeft ons de sterkte van deze. We zien dat de tijdreeks gedomineerd wordt door deze lage frequenties, wat maakt dat de tijdreeks er lang over zal doen om elke keer naar beneden en omhoog te gaan. De tijdreeks gaat dus traag op en neer.

cumulatief periodogram:
Bij een frequentie van 0 tot 0.5 (x-as), kunnen we kijken welk percentage van de tijdreeks bepaald wordt door de golfbeweging.
Hier zien we dat bij een frequentie van 0.0 en 0.1, 95% van de tijdreeks bepaald wordt door de golfbeweging.
