The original package documentation reports a selection of columns.
The maintainer confirms that all 1712 records originate from this official
MAPAQ dataset distributed through Donnees Quebec, with no records added from
another source. The exact extraction date and original transformation script
are not recorded.
The 1712-row teaching snapshot is unchanged in this version. Publication
dates in the snapshot range from 2023-02-13 to 2025-02-10.
The package is not endorsed by the data provider. Historical records do not
establish the current situation of an establishment.

The observations were independently retrieved on 2026-09-22. Every stored
column, including missing values, matches the current official source using:
- STN_ID 5251 / CLIMATE_IDENTIFIER 7016294 through 1995-12-31;
- STN_ID 26892 / CLIMATE_IDENTIFIER 701S001 from 1996-01-01 to 2025-01-22.
The reconstruction script and source manifest are in the repository's data-raw
directory. The .rda serialization is unchanged for course compatibility.
Original documentation attributed the earlier extraction to 'weathercan'; the
original retrieval date and preparation script have not been recovered.
The 2026 retrieval and complete comparison establish an independently verified
source for the measurements under the current data-service licence.
Only selected fields are included; measurement flags are not included.
The package is not endorsed by ECCC. Station homogeneity is not established.
