Door de verkeerde keuze van nulhypothese wordt hier het foute besluit getrokken. Want nu wordt er gezegd dat de nulhypothese verworpen wordt wat dan wil zeggen dat de theorie geen invloed heeft op het resultaat. In werkelijkheid is dit wel het geval. Daarnaast wordt niet vermeld op basis waarvan dit besluit getrokken wordt.
