Deze taak is op te lossen op 2 manieren. Ofwel met de 'Testing Variance - Critical Value' test of anders met de 'Testing Variance - Confidence Intervals For Sample Variance' test. Beide tests komen tot hetzelfde besluit dat bij de vrouwen de variantie niet significant verschillend is van 13 maar wel significant groter is dan 13.
