Het testen van de variantie bij de mannelijke populatie is triviaal, dit omdat wanneer we - bijvoorbeeld in Excel - de variantie van de gegevens laten berekenen, we zien dat deze precies gelijk is aan 13. Om die redenen zijn alle berekeningen om de variantie te testen totaal overbodig.
