We zien hier dat 20 niet in het interval [ 20.223810410058 , 22.0936499074023 ] ligt, dus we moeten de nulhypothese verwerpen. De L1 waarden voor vrouwen verschillen significant van 20.

Bij de eenzijdige testen zijn enkel de links eenzijdige testen van toepassing. Hier zien we dat voor vrouwen 20 buiten het interval [ 20.3777621085879 , +inf ] valt, dus we verwerpen hier de nulhypothese.

Het is enkel zinvol om deze vraag op te lossen aan de hand van het left-sided confidence interval omdat het sample mean groter is dan 20. Dus 20 behoort niet tot het 95% confidence interval. Hierdoor kunnen we de nulhypothese verwerpen.
