Men stelt hier vast dat het histogram (de werkelijke situatie) quasi dezelfde vorm aanneemt dan de normaalverdeling (de volle lijn). Men mag dus bij deze gegevens spreken van een normaalverdeling. Het geschatte gemiddelde van de normaalverdeling voor deze gegevens is gelijk aan 22,395. De standaardafwijking is gelijk aan 3,628.
