Je interpreteert de gegevens goed, maar niet uitgebreid genoeg. Je kan je bijvoorbeeld baseren op de vuistregel van >0.7, wat op zich niet fout is. Maar je hebt een preciezere tabel gekregen waarmee je betere vergelijkingen kunt maken.

Je ziet dat voor alle items bij de identified regulation een waarde van 0.7394 staat. Het artikel vereist slechts 0.62, wat erop wijst dat de ondervraagden van deze steekproef beter scoren dan wat als normaal aanzien wordt. Het wijst ook op een goede samenhang tussen de vragen.

De introjected regulation scoort voor alle items 0.7968, wat wel onder de alpha van het artikel ligt (met name 0.84). Het verschil is niet spectaculair groot, dus mag men nog steeds spreken van een goede samenhang tussen de vragen (gebaseerd op de vuistregel).

Bij de external regulation is de score die het artikel vereist is 0.83, wat de groep niet haalt met een alpha van 0.7416. Net zoals bij de introjected regulation kan men niet spreken van een significant verschil en kan men aannemen dat de vragen een goede samenhang vertonen op basis van de vuistregel. Men kan dus algemeen zeggen dat de ondervraagde groep een zeer goede identified regulation vertoont en over het algemeen een goede externe motivatie heeft.
