Je Notched boxplot is anders weergegeven dan de oplossing gegeven door professor Wessa.

Dit komt waarschijnlijk omdat je je broncode niet aangepast hebt om de outliers buiten beschouwing te laten.

Je antwoord is niet correct, correlatie kan niet meteen uit deze notched boxplot afgelezen worden.
Je kan wel de verschillende percentielen zien aan de box. De onderkant bijvoorbeeld laat het 25ste percentiel zien en de bovenkant van de box het 75ste percentiel.

Probeer ook hier een beetje meer uitleg te geven over hoe je aan je antwoord komt.

Je klikt op reproduce en je merkt dat er 2 kolommen in de data staan. De linkerkolom is de schermbreedte en de rechterkolom is de schermhoogte.
Je kan de data manueel wijzigen in Excel door de lower- en upperbound te verwijderen uit de data. Zo verwijder je het 25ste en 75ste percentiel, daar zitten de 50 middelste gegevens. Wanneer je de extreme waarden verwijderd, zullen de bolletjes op de boxplot verdwijnen.

Het is eenvoudiger om de R-code veranderd. Je typt bovenaan de R-code
Z<- z[z[,1]*z[,2]>800000 & z[,1]*z[,2]<1700000,]

De boxplot zou eigenlijk niet mogen beïnvloed worden door de outlines. De bolletjes zijn wel verdwenen als je de extreme waarden verwijderd maar je krijgt nog steeds ongeveer dezelfde afmetingen omdat de boxplot ongevoelig is voor extreme waarden.
