De auteur heeft manueel de extreme waarden verwijdert. Dit is correct gebeurd.

Ik had bij mijn oplossing ook extreme waarden verwijdert, maar blijkbaar niet allemaal. Daarom kreeg ik een ander beeld te zien dan deze persoon.

Daarnaast ben ik het eens met de conclusie die de auteur stelt. Het is inderdaad zo dat een boxplot niet beïnvloed wordt door extreme waarden, aangezien deze gebruik maakt van de mediaan. Het verwijderen van de extreme waarden zorgt er gewoon voor dat de uiteen liggende 'bolletjes' verwijderd worden. De onder- en bovengrens worden hierdoor dus niet beïnvloed.

Niet volledig (1/2).
De student zijn methode is op zich correct en de interpretatie die de persoon maakt ook. Maar hij heeft manueel teveel outliers verwijderd, normaal blijven er nog een paar over.

De student heeft net als mij enkele outliers verwijderd. Dit kan beter gebeuren door de R-code te veranderen. Vb. z <- z[z[,1]*z[,2]>800000 & z[,1]*z[,2]<1700000,].

Zijn conclusie is weliswaar correct

Er is op een juiste manier te werk gegaan door de outliers te verwijderen ook heeft hij een goede conclusie gemaakt door te zeggen dat de positie van de boxplot niet veranderd door het verwijderen van deze outliers

De student heeft op een correcte manier de uitschieters verwijderD. Ook de conclusie is juist.
