De data moest nog worden ingegeven om de stem-and-leaf plot als oplossing te bekomen.

Ook hier is er geen gebruik gemaakt van de data die je terugvond in het excel document.

Je moet de data wijzigen om de stem-and-leaf plot voor de tijd die studenten nodig hebben te creëren. De data die in de oorspronkelijke opgave staat is de schermbreedte. Nadat je reproduce klikt (voor MSIE, eerst secure callback) kan je de juiste data vanuit het Excel bestand kopiëren. Je kopieert kolom A. Deze kolom bevat de verschillende tijden die voorkwamen wanneer studenten een survey invulden. Daarna druk je compute. Je krijgt nu de nieuwe stem-and-leaf plot voor de tijd die studenten nodig hebben te zien.

In de nieuwe stem-and-leaf plot staat de grootste frequentie naast de 2. De meeste studenten hebben tussen de 200 en 259 seconden nodig om survey in te vullen.

De student heeft hier de verkeerde data gebruikt. Hij of zij heeft de data laten staan, terwijl die moest veranderd worden in seconden die je vond in de time tabel. Deze time tabel moest je kopiëren naar de input data, om zo de juiste stem and leaf plot te bekomen. Je ziet dan in de stem and leaf plot dat de meeste studenten tussen de 200 en 259 seconden nodig hebben.
