Het trimmen leidt inderdaad tot andere resultaten. Dit komt doordat in bijvoorbeeld maand 6 en 10, vele van de observaties in de hoogste en laagste 5 % lagen. Hierdoor zijn de resultaten grondig door elkaar geschud.

Door de 5% hoogste en laagste resultaten eruit te laten zien we een heel ander verloop van de mean plot. De student heeft dit ook goed opgelost.

De student zegt enkel dat dit tot andere resultaten leidt maar vermeldt niet welke resultaten. Het is namelijk zo dat je de staarten gaat afknippen waardoor de spreiding verkleint.
