Kleding productie ligt lager dan totale productie, maar is dat wel zo? Dit kan men visueel waarnemen. Zoals men kan zien ligt kleding productie inderdaad significant lager dan industriële productie.

Q1:Duidelijk en juiste gegevensinmplementatie van de student! Bijkomende uitleg: We kunnen stellen dat de mediaan van de totale productie significant hoger is dan die van kleding productie, het is dus niet aan het toeval te wijten. We kunnen duidelijk waarnemen dat de mediaan van kleding productie niet binnen de notches (inkepingen) van totale productie valt. die notches geven het 95% betrouwbaarheidsinterval aan en als de mediaan van de kleding prodcutie daar tussen had gelegen, zou het verschil aan het toeval te wijten zijn. Dus moesten we de lijn van de bijde notches verbinden merken we dat de inkepingen van kledij duidelijk boven die van totale productie liggen. De mediaan geeft aan dat we een dalende trend kennen indien we kijken naar de mediaan van kleding

We stellen inderdaad vast dat de mediaan van de kledij productie lager ligt dan die van de totale productie. Maar dan kunnen we ons nog afvragen: Is deze significant lager? Ja, als we de inkepingen van de box plots, die het betrouwbaarheidsinterval voorstellen, horizontaal doortrekken zien we dat de inkeping van de kledij productie duidelijk onder die van de totale productie ligt.

De mediaan van de totale productie ligt iets boven 100, namelijk 101,7. Er is bijgevolg een lichte stijging. De mediaan van de kledij productie ligt duidelijk onder de 100, er is een dalende trend.
