we kunnen duidelijk aflezen dat AR3, SAR1 en SAR2 niet significant zijn. wanneer we verder zien dat komen we tot besluit dat we op de 4e rij een AR1+MA+SMA model hebben.

in het residual ACF is geen autocorrelatie te zien, dit is goed.

je hebt het residual PACF niet mee opgenomen in je document, hier is ook geen autocorrelatie te vinden.

wel moeten we bemerken dat er in de PACF 1 keer een waarde buiten het confidence interval is. dit is echter te verwaarlozen omdat er zoveel waarnemingen zijn die wel binnen het CI vallen.

Alleen kunnen we nog bemerken dat in het Q-Q plot zich een kleine afwijking bevindt aan de rechterkant.

Het is jammer dat je in de vierde vraag de waarden van p, q, P en Q niet berekend hebt. Aangezien dit ontbreekt, kan je in principe ook vraag 5 niet oplossen. Je hebt toch de waarden gebruikt die in de les gegeven werden.
Hieronder volgen de verschillende stappen die je moet volgen om p, q, P en Q te bekomen:

Eerst gaan we op zoek naar een AR-proces. We kijken op de grafiek ‘Autocorrelation’ naar de eerste 4 à 5 observaties. We zien dat deze allemaal positief zijn en ze convergeren vrij snel naar nul. Wel merken we op dat de eerste observatie iets te kort is en we deze langer moeten maken. Nu gaan we op zoek naar de orde. Deze lezen we af op de grafiek ‘Partial Autocorrelation’. De eerste twee observaties zijn significant, daaruit volgt dat we hier te maken hebben met een orde 2 proces. Hier is er dus sprake van een niet seizoenaal AR-proces. We stellen p = 2.

Opnieuw kijken we naar de grafiek ‘Autocorrelation’. Ditmaal naar lag 12, 24, 36, 48 en 60. Enkel de eerste lag is significant. De rest ligt allemaal dichter bij nul. Dit kan je ook in controleren in de tabel als het te moeilijk is om het af te lezen van de grafiek. Hieruit volgt dat we niet te maken hebben met een seizoenaal AR-proces. We stellen P = 0.

Nu gaan we op zoek naar een MA-proces. Op de grafiek ‘Partial Correlation’ zien we geen negatieve waarden die zeer snel naar nul gaan. Hiervoor kijken we naar de eerste 4 à 5 lags. Aangezien er geen niet-seizoenaal MA-proces aanwezig is, stellen we q = 0.

Vervolgens kijken we opnieuw naar de grafiek ‘Partial Correlation’ om een seizoenaal MA-proces te vinden. We zien dat dit aanwezig is, als we kijken naar lag 12, 24, 36, 48 en 60. De eerste drie lags zijn significant. Nu gaan we kijken naar de grafiek ‘Autocorrelation’ om de orde van het proces te vinden. We zien dat lag 12 significant is, de rest niet. Daaruit volgt dat we te maken hebbben met een orde 1 proces. Hieruit volgt dat Q = 1.

Bij vraag 5 moet je vervolgens de formule opstellen voor het model. Deze is:

( 1 – φ1 β – φ2 β2) = ( 1 – Θ1 β12 ) et

Als laatste bekijken we ook nog de restwaarden. We kijken eerst naar de grafiek ‘Residual Autocorrelation Function’. We zien geen patroon, geen significantie en ook geen correlatie. Kijken we naar de grafiek ‘Residual Partial Autocorrelation’ dan ze we dat er geen partiële correlatie is. Alle observaties op één na vallen binnen het betrouwbaarheidsinterval 95%. Één observatie valt eruit, maar dat is te verwaarlozen. Kijken we vervolgens naar de grafiek ‘Residual Cumulative Periodogram’ dan zien we dat de tijdreeks tussen de twee stippellijnen ligt en dus geen patroon vertoont. Vervolgens kijken we nog naar de grafiek ‘Residual Histogram’, waar we zien dat deze een vrij normale verdeling weergeeft. Dit is ook te zien op de grafiek ‘Residual Density Plot’. Om te eindigen, kijken we nog naar de grafiek ‘Residual QQ-plot’. Hier zien we dat de grafiek niet helemaal perfect is, want in de staarten wijken de observaties af van de rechte.
