Door d gelijk te stellen aan 1 wordt de tijdreeks gedifferentieerd vooraleer de correlatiefunctie wordt berekend.
De lange termijn trend is hierdoor verdwenen. We hebben echter wel nog te maken met seizoenaliteit. Dit kan je zien aan de pieken die voorkomen bij 12, 24, 36, … die een langzaam dalend verloop kennen. Om dit te verbeteren zullen we nu ook seizoenaal differentiëren door D gelijk te stellen aan 1.
