Je kon uit het raw periodogram ook reeds seizoenaliteit afleiden. Dit zie je aan de frequenties die verbonden zijn aan de pieken. Wanneer je deze opzoekt in de tabel kan je zien dat ze overeenkomen met 12, 6, 4 enz... Dit weist dus op siezoenaliteit.

Aanvullend.

Door middel van de spectrale analyse wordt de tijdreeks ontbonden in regelmatige golfbewegingen.
Aan de hand van de tabel zien we dat
De intensiteit dat de 1e golfbeweging van 375 maanden voorkomt is 305413. Dit is een hoge waarde wat in dit geval wijst op een lange termijn. Dit is hier ook het geval, namelijk 375 maanden. Ook de golfbeweging wijst hier op een lange termijn trend. Verder zien we dat de hoogste spectrumwaarde zich voordoet na 187,5 maanden. Wanneer we kijken naar de intensiteit van 12 maanden zien we dat deze ook relatief hoog is, namelijk 66353. Omdat het hier over een periode van 12 maanden gaat verwijst deze hoge waarde naar seizoenaliteit. Ook de waarden bij 4 en 6 maanden liggen vrij hoog. Doordat het hier dus gaat om trimesters en semesters wijzen deze hoge waarden ook op seizoenaliteit.

Ok. We zien in de Raw Periodogram inderdaad een langzaam dalend patroon wat wijst op een lange termijn trend. Het valt ook op dat er seizoenaliteit aanwezig is als we kijken naar de tabel. Bij 12, 6 en 4 zien we dat de spectrum zeer hoog is.
Bij de cumulative periodogram geeft de steil stijgende lijn inderdaad de lange termijn trend weer, deze verklaard voor 70% de tijdreeks. De trapbeweging duidt op seizoenaliteit.

Via de spectrale analyse kunnen we een tijdreeks ontbinden in golfbewegingen met hoge en lage frequenties. We zien hier inderdaad een lineaire lange termijntrend en een trapvorm die typisch is voor seizonaliteit.
