JE had nog kunnen vermelden of de lambda wel zinvol is of niet. De p-waarde in de eerste tabel bedraagt maar 0,0038 dus is het geen toeval dat de helling significant verschillend is van nul (ze moet kleiner zijn dan 0.05). Doordat de p-waarde significant is, mogen we kijken naar de lambda waarde op de volgende tabel.

De eerste tabel hier is om te controleren of je de de lambda waarde wel moet gebruiken. De p-waarde is hier zeer klein en Beta is gelijk aan 0.05. Het is dus significant verschillend van nul en we kijken dus naar de lambda waarde.
We ronden deze best af naar 0.5.

De student geeft een goede oplossing. De P-waarde in de 1e tabel is zeer klein, betha is dus significant verschillend van nul. Hieruit kunnen we afleiden dat we de lambda-waarde uit de 2de tabel mogen nemen.
