Je hebt hier een verkeerde berekening gemaakt. Je moiet hier de Standard deviation Mean Plot gebruiken. Dit is de correcte bereking: http://www.freestatistics.org/blog/index.php?v=date/2008/Dec/08/t1228729747ynf00coekrrlw4e.htm

De lambda waarde moet -0,312... zijn om naar een betere spreiding te gaan.

Bovenstaande link geeft u mijn berekening weer. De berekening die u maakt is een foutieve berekening. De regressie die te zien kan verklaren wat de standaardfout, dit door het gegeven gemiddelde. Er is een lambda van -0,31 om de spreiding optimaal te stabiliseren. Om de spreiding te stabiliseren, zijn er 2 transformaties nodig.

Inderdaad een verkeerde berekening.

Aan de hand van de eerste tabel kunnen we vaststellen dat het gemiddelde jaar na jaar toeneemt. Dit is eveneens zo bij de standaardafwijking. Een mogelijke verklaring is dat het aantal reizigers stijgt. De nieuwe reizigers hebben hetzelfde reispatroon, waardoor de sterke maanden nog sterker worden en de zwakke maanden nog zwakker. De lambdawaarde kan deze volatiliteit, die aanwezig is in de tijdreeks, egaliseren. Hierdoor zal de variantie stationair worden (d.i. minder afhankelijk van de tijd worden gesteld).
